An Advanced Web Site Validation and Problem Detection System

December, 2005: REL Software has announced a new version of their advanced web validation and problem detection system, Web Link Validator. The program has come a long way from a simple link checker to a comprehensive web site analysis package. Yet, it still remains an inexpensive and cost-effective solution. One of the most exciting new features of the recently announced version is its ability to check the spelling of your Web pages.

Even when working on a small-sized personal web page, you are likely to make some HTML coding mistakes or spelling errors or insert some broken links, etc. When you maintain a medium or large sized web project, controlling your web site's correctness and integrity becomes one of your most important and time-consuming tasks.

Web Link Validator can assume many of these everyday routines:

Site integrity checking
Web Link Validator automatically searches all the pages of your site for obsolete links and "orphaned" pages. The program is clever enough to process password-protected directories, HTTPS and FTP links and the links contained in Java scripts or Macromedia Flash files.

Loading problems detection
Web Link Validator loads each page of your site and measures the loading time. This allows you to easily detect problematic pages.

Syntax validation
Web Link Validator uses a built-in HTML validator. It detects and reports back the most significant gaps in your HTML code.

Spell-checking
The new version of Web Link Validator introduces a new feature. From now on, you can also receive reports about spelling errors found on your site.

Automatic reporting
You can use Web Link Validator to constantly monitor your web sites. The program will automatically create reports and send them to a specified email address.
